Inside Stoughton’s historic train depot, Depot Hill Creative brings together art classes, studio space, and room to make things. It is a place for new learners, working artists, and anyone looking for a creative practice close to home.
Our Story
Depot Hill Creative grows from a simple idea: it is never too late to start making something. Inspired by Quinn and Verna Smet’s long connection to Stoughton and Quinn’s own return to painting later in life, it brings more art and practice into everyday life here.

Introducing Depot Hill Market
Local food, handmade goods, and the people behind them. Our new monthly market starts January 30, 2027, and we’re inviting farmers, makers, artists, and specialty food vendors to apply by November 3 for our first season.
