A beginner-friendly metal clay workshop where you will make your own sterling silver ring with a set stone focal point.
What you’ll do
In this three-hour class, you’ll learn the basics of working with metal clay while building a ring from start to finish. You’ll construct a metal clay band, think through ring sizing and shrink rates, and learn a method for setting a stone to be fired in place. You’ll also explore additive construction and finishing techniques that help bring the piece to a high-shine polish. Your ring will be fired in a kiln after class and made available for pickup. This is a single-session class.
