This beginner-friendly watercolor class is designed for anyone who is curious about painting and wants a relaxed, supportive place to start. We will explore basic watercolor techniques such as brush control, color mixing, layering, and simple washes while focusing on observation and process rather than perfection. You will learn through the use of simple exercises and guided practice. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to experiment and play. This class encourages a growth mindset and helps students build confidence while developing a personal style.
What You’ll Do: We will paint using a wet in wet technique and will then use two paint colors to paint a painting!
What You’ll Learn: a quick review on papers, brushes, paints, a texture/ techniques chart, etc
We will do some basic techniques and color mixing and do 1 and 2 color small paintings.
